An Informational Session For Family and Friends of the Incarcerated

Presented by: The State Appellate Defender Office (SADO)

It can be a very scary and confusing time when your loved one is convicted of a crime and sentenced to the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC).  SADO would like to invite you to join us for a free informational session about what to expected after a loved one has been convicted and sentenced to prison.  Talk with SADO staff about the process of appealing a conviction and how an appeal is different from the trial or plea proceedings, and learn how to stay connected with your incarcerated loved ones through visits and letters, and much  more.

This Informational Session is offered four times in 2015 on the following dates and times:

Thursday, February 5th @ 5:30pm in Detroit

Thursday, May 7th @ 5:30pm in Lansing

Thursday, August 6th @ 5:30pm in Detroit

Thursday, November 5th @ 5:30pm in Lansing
