We want you to be among the first to be able to order tickets for our 2019 Annual Dinner Meeting, taking place Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Lansing. Tickets are just $25 a piece, or entire tables for $250.

This year, we continue our tradition of bringing you an evening of fellowship, networking, information-sharing and headline speakers on criminal justice reform from around the state and nation. We’re excited to welcome Deanna R. Hoskins, the president and CEO of JustLeadershipUSA. She will be talking about the importance of second chances. We’re presenting the William G. Milliken Award to Rep. David La Grand (D-Grand Rapids), who has tirelessly worked on issues such as bail reform and restorative justice.

New in 2019, we will be serving plated dinners. By signing up now, you’ll get to have your choice of fine herbed chicken, grilled Atlantic salmon or oven-roasted vegetable risotto. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions you may have in advance, such as a vegan or gluten-free diet.

We will also bring you up to date on the very latest from the state Capitol. These updates will include topics such as the efforts to bring Clean Slate legislation to Michigan, the campaign to Raise the Age, and new policies such as the Medically Frail Parole law that we have supported in the past year.

You’ll get to talk about all these things with others interested in advancing criminal justice reform from around the state. Our Annual Dinner Meeting is a great place to meet new people committed to changing Michigan’s criminal justice system, to catch up with old friends and to get re-energized for the upcoming legislative season.

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available to those for whom the $25 cost is a hardship. Please contact info@safeandjustmi.org to learn more.
